It’s an illustration of an Indian wild ass (Onagros Indikos, as the label says) accompanying Manuel Philes’s poem De Animalium Proprietate. You can find this particular manuscript in Bodleian Library: MS. Auct. F. 4. 15. It says there that it was copied in Paris in 1564 for the use of the king François I.
