Anamorphic Unicorn Sketch
This is a quick little sketch I roughed up at the weekend of an anamorphic unicorn.That is that the image is distorted along mutually perpendicular lines.
The effect I have been trying to achieve is something akin to that seen in Hans Holbein’s painting ‘The Amabssadors‘ In the foreground is the distorted image of a skull, a symbol of mortality. When seen from a point to the right of the picture the distortion is corrected.
When viewed from the side the distortion in my unicorn should be corrected.
